You install the theme and the (optional) child theme and once that’s completed, you will have access to the Bricks Builder features.

- Site Builder – this allows you to build your own theme files like headers and footers, archive templates, page templates and single blog post templates, and more.

- Global Colours – perfect for keeping a consistent colour palette throughout your entire website design
- Dynamic Data – use WordPress data (post title, featured image, content, etc.), in your pages, posts or template files
- Custom Sidebars – build and reference custom sidebars throughout your site or template files
- Custom Code – easily add in your own custom code on a page by page basis or globally throughout your entire website.
The builder offers easy to use drag and drop widgets for many common page elements. Things like headings, images, forms, icon boxes, accordions and loads more (currently there are around 50 widgets or elements to choose from).
If you’ve ever used a page builder like Elementor or Divi, you should feel at home very quickly with Bricks Builder.
How Much Does Bricks Builder Cost?
Currently, Bricks Builder is on a special, time-limited, lifetime offer at $59 for a single license or $149 for 1000 sites.
Once that closes, the price will increase to $99 and $249 respectively. So, if you’re interested in grabbing a copy, now would be a great time to make a good saving on a lifetime deal.
They are also offering a very generous returns policy, so if you aren’t fully satisfied with Bricks Builder, you can get your money back.
Why Should I Use Bricks Builder?
This isn’t an easy question to answer right now as Bricks Builder is still a very new product. What it does have going for it is it comes from an established development company with a tried and tested product (HappyFiles Pro) under its belt.
While Bricks Builder is still a relatively new page builder for WordPress, it’s come out of the gates swinging with a solid initial release with an enviable selection of tools available immediately.
On the negative side, there are still many features that are missing compared to its more established peers. So, you may want to wait a little longer and see how the development cycle progresses before jumping on board.
It has started incredibly strongly and if the developers are 100% behind the promised features, I can see it becoming a viable option for many in the very near future.
What Are The Drawbacks of Bricks Builder?
As I just mentioned, the fact that this is a new product, without a proven track record and with some key features (currently) missing, it may not have everything you need to build the types of sites you want to build.
Also, the team beyond Bricks Builder is still pretty small, so if you need fast help and support, that may become a bit of a sticking point until the product proves itself, increases turnover and allows the team to take on dedicated support staff to help with this aspect.
That being said, there is a nice little Facebook Community forming around Bricks Builder that I think will grow and hopefully offer another way to get fast help & support.
My Conclusion on Bricks Builder
I love rooting for the underdog in a situation and with the rise of Gutenberg, the established big players in the field and a market that is fairly saturated, I love how easy Bricks Builder has made it to build pages and I hope it makes a mark and becomes a successful product.
I’m especially excited to see just how flexible and easy it is to integrate dynamic data into the site using a magnitude of tools like ACF Pro, Meta Box, PODS, etc.
If this is expanded to include some of the key features we need to utilise this type of data effectively, it will be a fantastic platform for building listing websites like real estate sites, job listing sites and any other type of listing site that you can think of!
